Baptism or Confirmation Sponsor Form
If you are asked to be a godparent or confirmation sponsor, congratulations! It is truly an honor and responsibility to help guide the faith formation of someone you love. As a sponsor, you are expected to be a strong Christian witness to your loved one and to believe, profess, and live by the teachings of Jesus Christ as taught by the Catholic Faith in addition to regular participation at Mass and contributing to the work of the parish. Therefore, as a sponsor you must obtain a certificate of eligibility from your current parish verifying that you are a practicing Catholic in good standing and have received the Sacraments of Initiation. If you are a registered member of Christ the King Parish, please complete the Sponsor Request form and return it to the parish office.

Mass Intention RequestsIt is the tradition of the Catholic Church that Masses can be offered to pray for a special intention or for the souls of our deceased loved ones.
Scheduling of Mass intentions begins in October for the upcoming year. The request form is printed in the bulletin throughout October.
Intentions are scheduled only through our administrative office located at Saint Joseph Church, 342 Dorseyville Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15215.
To request a Mass you may complete the form below and return it to the administrative office or place it in the collection basket.
Please note: to ensure Masses are available to all who request them, you may only request ONE Mass for a Saturday vigil or Sunday morning and TWO on a weekday. The Masses will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The stipend for a Mass intention is $10. Please include a check made out to Christ the King Parish with your request form.

Tabernacle Candles
We offer the opportunity for the weekly tabernacle candle in each of our churches to be offered for an intention or in memory of a loved one. The intention will be printed in that week's bulletin.Intentions are scheduled only through our administrative office located at Saint Joseph Church, 342 Dorseyville Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15215.To request tabernacle candle you may complete the form below and return it to the administrative office or place it in the collection basket.
The donation for a tabernacle candle is $20. Please include a check made out to Christ the King Parish with your request form.

Funeral Planning Booklet
Scheduling funerals is generally done through the funeral home.
Please use the booklet below to learn about the liturgy and select your music and readings. Information should be given to the priest or music minister.

Currently, our buildings are only available for parish sponsored events. We are not renting any parish halls or other rooms for private events.
