Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation brings to completion the grace received through Baptism. By this Sacrament the baptized are more perfectly bound to the church and are enriched by the strength of the Holy Spirit. This gift conforms believers more fully to Christ and strengthens them to bear witness to Christ for the building up of his body in faith and love.  

At Christ the King Parish, the Sacrament of Confirmation is typically celebrated in the Spring of the 8th grade year. If your child is not in the 8th grade or has not received the Sacraments of Baptism or Holy Eucharist, please reach out to our Faith Formation Office at 412-963-8885.

Preparation for this Sacrament is necessary,  and Christ the King Parish follows  the Sacramental Preparation guidelines of the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
