Join us for the last four episodes of Catholicism: Journey Around the World and Deep into the Faith, on Wednesday mornings beginning January 15 in the St. Scholastica parish hall following the 10:00am liturgy.

Saturday, December 14, 2019 St. Joseph Parish (St. John Paul II Hall) Two Seatings - 9:00am & 12:00pm

We are a group of adults who meet monthly to support each other and share practices and resources for spiritual growth. Please join us! Our next meeting is on Tuesday, November 12, at 7:30pm, in the St. Scholastica Ministry Center library.

Our fall video series explores main themes of the Catholic faith. We meet on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 in the St. Scholastica Parish Hall OR on Thursday evenings at 7:30 in the St. John Paul II Hall at St. Joseph Parish. No Thursday meeting on Halloween.

The Lower Allegheny Valley Grouping of Parishes is currently in the process of gathering information from those who serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC). Regardless of which parish you belong to or church that you attend, we want to hear from you. It is especially important to learn who is carrying the Holy Eucharist to the homebound in our parishes, to those in the hospital, or those who may be in a nursing facility, assisted living, or under hospice care. We also want to compile a current list of those women and men who serve as EMHC only during Mass in the six churches of our LAV grouping. Read more here.
